With Singapore striving to be a renaissance city, rich in arts and culture, this is an excellent opportunity for your students to watch and experience the current asian contemporary dance. This performance showcases dance from 3 international choreographers, whose works have been performed at international arts festivals such as Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, USA, Germany.

Featuring 3 dance items
1. Dreams Come True
There is something mysterious about mannequins that are displayed in the shopping malls, their stillness and coldness seems to hide away some untold secrets. What happens when all the shoppers are gone, and the mall is closed? Do they ever come to life? How is their world like?
2. Pastel Snow
Inspired by William Blake’s poetry, Song Of Innocence, the movements in this dance display lightness and fluidity, complimenting the surrealistic mood as the poetry is being read.
3. Only Me
A playful and comical piece, this dance portrays jealousy-the evil nature of human beings, in a light and humorous manner.

A slide presentation providing an overview of the history and current development of contemporary dance. .
